Leaders

Roger Smith will be leading this church plant.

Up until the end of September he was lead elder at Downham Way Family Church in South East London. He is also a Magistrate in Central London.

Previously he was Head of Public Policy at CARE, based in Westminster, Vice-Chair of the Centre for Bioethics and Public Policy and planted the Newfrontiers church in Bournemouth.

He lectures on ethics and socio-political issues.

Roger is married to Elizabeth – they have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

Roger was born and bred in Richmond, and when he and Elizabeth were first married they lived in Richmond, and then moved to live in Kingston.

Elizabeth is a teacher and started her teaching career in Ham.

Roger has supported Tottenham Hotspur for over 50 years – man and boy!

He loves Rugby, so coming back to the Twickenham area is a real bonus.
